Our Guiding Principles

The Filipino youth are the future in the upliftment of the nation through excellence in all endeavours, especially in the improvement of health care. Quality, conscientious and compassionate education is essential in the success of medical professionals. Christian faith must find expression in service to all our brothers and sisters. To instill that service to our fellowmen is love of God- “Service is Love”. And lastly, the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel is our model of simplicity and our caring and loving mother.

College Name

The College of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel (Pampanga) is named in honor and as an offering to Our Lady of Mount Carmel, our patron.

Established in 2005, the College of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel (P) oval medallion shaped logo bears the following:

• The image of our Blessed Virgin Mary carrying the child Jesus Christ and holding the scapular. This symbolizes motherly protection, beauty, faith, conversion and the promise of Carmel.
• Open Book. This image represents that knowledge is freely shared.
• Torch symbolizes wisdom and enlightenment; and,
• College Motto: “Ut Serve Est Amare.” To Serve is to Love.

The Carmelian Community color signature is Brown, like the cross and the soil of the earth. A Carmelian elects the color Brown for we are chosen to carry the Cross of Our Lord Jesus Christ and imitate our Blessed Virgin Mary’s humility.
